Ciénega de Flores Map Poster & Print
Ciénega de Flores lies just north of the Monterrey metropolitan area in Nuevo León, along the main road corridor toward Nuevo Laredo and the United States border. For much of its history it was a small farming town. Its position on this route has since drawn in logistics, manufacturing and large new residential developments.
The map shows these layers side by side. There is a compact traditional centre with a square and short blocks, surrounded by long, very regular housing subdivisions and the large rectangular footprints of industrial parks. Highways cut through it all in long straight lines.
A Ciénega de Flores map poster suits the geometry of northern Mexico. The ruled lines, generous blocks and open semi-arid land between developments look sharp in monochrome, and the mountains of the Sierra Madre stand at a distance beyond the edge of the plain.
