Conde lies on the northern coast of Bahia, along the Linha Verde, the coastal highway that runs toward Sergipe. The municipality stretches from inland farmland to a long, straight Atlantic shore, and on a map its town, beach villages and river channels are spread across a wide, flat landscape.
The Itapicuru River reaches the sea within the municipality, and its mouth forms a branching shape of channels, sandbars and mangrove edges, the most complex part of the map. Along the coast, beach settlements such as Sítio do Conde appear as small street clusters placed just behind the dunes.
