Edgewater Map Poster & Print
Edgewater is a city in Volusia County on Florida's east coast, just south of New Smyrna Beach. It follows the western shore of the Indian River lagoon, and from above it is long and thin. The city stretches north to south along the water, with barrier islands and the Atlantic beyond.
The street pattern follows the familiar mid-century Florida suburb: parallel residential streets run inland from the shore, crossed by longer collector roads. US 1 runs along the city's length close to the lagoon, forming a spine. Along the water, the shoreline is broken by small canals and inlets that bring boats close to people's homes.
An Edgewater map poster captures that strip-like form, the fine comb of residential streets and the open water of the lagoon to the east. It is a clean, graphic picture of a waterfront town, a natural choice for residents and for anyone who has kept a boat on these shores.

US 1 spine
The highway runs the length of Edgewater near the water. It is a strong, continuous line that the rest of the grid is organised around.
Canal-side streets
Small canals and inlets cut into the shore between residential blocks. They add fine, finger-like details to the waterfront edge.
