Freguesia Map Poster & Print
Freguesia is a neighbourhood on Ilha do Governador, the largest island in Guanabara Bay, within the city of Rio de Janeiro. From above, the island's irregular coastline dominates the scene, with small coves, beaches and headlands framing streets that climb the gentle hills of the interior.
The island is home to Rio's main international airport at Galeão, and bridges and causeways connect it to the mainland. Freguesia itself sits away from the runways, and its layout is more residential and irregular, shaped by the terrain and the bay rather than a single master plan.
A Freguesia map poster captures a very particular kind of Rio geography: a dense web of residential streets on an island, surrounded on several sides by open water. The contrast between the tight urban fabric and the smooth expanse of Guanabara Bay makes the composition both detailed and calm.

Island setting
Freguesia lies on Ilha do Governador, and the map shows how the island's streets are contained by the bay, linked to the mainland by bridges.
Hillside streets
Streets bend around the small hills in the island's interior, creating a denser, less regular pattern than the grids found in many planned Brazilian districts.

Näme üçin Freguesia
Many bar bolan karta
For residents of the island, Freguesia is a home with its own rhythm, separate from the rest of Rio yet within sight of it. A map of its streets and shoreline is a thoughtful way to mark that attachment in a living room or hallway.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or date, and a coordinates line. With five styles available, from Noir to Paper, the poster can be matched to the room, and it is available as a digital file or a printed poster.
