Hill country
The uplands of the Montagnes district shape Gbapleu's layout. Streets follow the lower, gentler ground, and higher slopes stay mostly empty on the map.

Gbapleu Map Poster & Print
Gbapleu is in the Montagnes district of western Ivory Coast, close to the city of Man. The region takes its name from its uplands. Wooded hills and granite peaks rise around the valleys where towns and villages have grown. On a map, Gbapleu's roads respond to that terrain, and the settlement spreads out along the easier ground.
The Man area is among the most hilly parts of the country and is known for its striking peaks and waterfalls. A Gbapleu map poster does not attempt to show every feature of that landscape. It keeps the lines people use every day: the roads, the lanes between houses, and the routes toward the city.
Once colour is removed, the print becomes a record of how a community fits into hilly country. It works as a reminder of a place, especially for people who have left the Montagnes region and still think of it as home.
