Goffle Brook Park
A slender band of parkland follows Goffle Brook through town. On the map it is a continuous pale strip that separates neighbourhoods and softens the suburban street pattern.

Hawthorne Map Poster & Print
Hawthorne is a borough in Passaic County, part of the densely built suburban belt just north of Paterson. From above it looks like a tight pattern of residential blocks. Its streets bend gently with the land instead of keeping to a strict grid. The Passaic River forms part of the borough's edge, and a commuter rail line crosses the town on a diagonal that holds the whole drawing together.
The most distinctive green shape is Goffle Brook Park, a narrow strip of parkland that follows the brook through the borough. On a black-and-white print it shows as a pale corridor between rows of houses, and anyone who has walked or driven along it will recognise it at once. The main roads meet near the older commercial centre and the station, where the street pattern becomes slightly denser.
A Hawthorne map poster suits a place people know up close rather than from a distance: the street where a family grew up, the walk to the train, the park at the end of the block. At borough scale every lane stays legible, drawn in fine line with enough white space around it for the pattern to read clearly.

Passaic River edge
The river traces part of the borough boundary. Its curving line gives one side of the map a natural frame and sets Hawthorne apart from the city across the water.
Rail line diagonal
A commuter rail line crosses Hawthorne in a steady straight stroke, in clear contrast to the gently curving residential streets on either side of the tracks.
