Jelenia Góra Map Poster & Print
Jelenia Góra lies in a wide basin ringed by mountains, with the Karkonosze rising to the south. The Bóbr river runs through the city, and the historic centre sits on a small rise near its banks. On the map, the old town appears as an oval of streets around the market square. Separate districts, including the spa quarter of Cieplice, spread across the valley.
The market square is lined with arcaded townhouses, a characteristic feature of Silesian towns. Cieplice Śląskie-Zdrój, now part of the city, is one of the oldest spa towns in Poland and is known for its thermal springs. Jelenia Góra is also a base for visitors to the Karkonosze National Park and the resorts of Karpacz and Szklarska Poręba.
A Jelenia Góra map poster shows a city shaped by its valley. The river, the compact old town and the scattered districts create a varied and balanced composition. It suits hikers, spa visitors and anyone with a connection to Lower Silesia.
