Garden suburb streets
Karłowice's early twentieth-century streets curve gently between villas and gardens. They were a deliberate contrast to the dense blocks of central Wrocław.

Karłowice-Różanka Map Poster & Print
Karłowice-Różanka is an administrative district in the north of Wrocław, on the right bank of the Oder. On the map it reads as a calm, leafy quarter. There are tree-lined streets of villas and low apartment houses, a large park and allotment gardens, and the river and its side channels mark the edges of the neighbourhood.
Karłowice was developed in the early twentieth century as a garden suburb, and its gently curving streets and spacious plots still show that planning ideal. Różanka, the neighbouring part of the district, is more mixed. Older housing, newer estates and green strips along the water meet there. Together they form one of the most residential parts of the city.
A Karłowice-Różanka map poster shows a side of Wrocław beyond the familiar Market Square and Ostrów Tumski. River bends, parkland and the curved streets of the villa quarter create a soft, balanced pattern. It looks equally good in Classic black & white or Blueprint and is a natural choice for residents.

Oder river bends
The Oder and its channels wrap around the district in wide, curving lines. They set where the neighbourhood begins and ends.
Parks and allotments
Large green spaces, including a park and allotment gardens, open up the map. They give the district its restful, low-density look from above.
