The fortress sits on high ground west of the centre, and the streets below it bend and narrow as they climb the slope.

Kütahya Map Poster & Print
Kütahya lies in western Anatolia at the foot of a hill crowned by its castle. The map shows the transition clearly. Winding, irregular streets climb toward the fortress, while the newer city extends outward across flatter ground in straighter, more regular blocks. Main roads leave in several directions, linking Kütahya with Eskişehir, Afyonkarahisar and the Aegean.
The city is best known for its tile and ceramic tradition. For centuries Kütahya's workshops produced glazed pottery and çini decorated with blue and polychrome designs, and the craft continues today. The castle above town, with its round towers and walls, is the landmark visible from most of the city.
A Kütahya map poster captures the old town gathered beneath the hill, the long avenues of the modern centre and the edges of the surrounding plain. It is a fitting gift for people with roots in the city, and for anyone who admires its ceramic heritage.

Historic quarter
Around the older mosques and bazaar area the street pattern becomes tight and irregular, a sharp contrast with the wider avenues nearby.
Modern avenues
The newer districts spread across flatter land in a more regular pattern, giving the poster a clear sense of how the city has grown.
