Psezuapse valley
The river reaches the sea through the centre of town. Its valley holds most of the streets and gives the map a clear line running inland.

Lazarevskoye Map Poster & Print
Lazarevskoye is a resort district in the north-west of Greater Sochi, on the Black Sea coast of Krasnodar Krai. It is named after Admiral Mikhail Lazarev, who was associated with the region's 19th-century fortifications. The town occupies the mouth of the Psezuapse River valley, where a small patch of flat land opens between the sea and the hills.
From above, the settlement is long and narrow. A coastal railway runs right along the shore, and behind it the streets fill the valley floor before climbing into steep, wooded slopes. The river cuts through the centre, and the beach forms a continuous line along the sea.
A Lazarevskoye map poster shows a place defined by its terrain. The coastline and railway set a strong edge, the river valley gives a clear inland direction, and the foothills make the streets bend and thin out. Many Russian families have spent summer holidays here, and the shape is familiar to them.

Seaside railway
The railway follows the shore along the length of the town. On the poster it traces the coastline closely, a distinctive detail of this coast.
Foothill slopes
Streets climb into the hills around the valley and soon give way to forest. The map empties out quickly away from the sea.
