Maianga Map Poster & Print
Maianga is one of the central urban districts of Luanda, lying just inland from the Baixa and the curve of the bay. On a map it forms part of the older, more formally planned city, with avenues and cross streets laid out in recognisable blocks that contrast with the looser patterns of the outer suburbs.
The streets here climb from the low waterfront toward higher ground, and the map shows how the grid bends and adjusts to that slope. Squares and roundabouts punctuate the layout, acting as small anchors in a busy street network. Government buildings, schools and residential blocks sit side by side in the city's administrative heart.
A Maianga map poster works well with a slightly wider frame that brings in the Bay of Luanda and the long sand spit of the Ilha to the west. That coastline gives the dense street pattern a strong visual counterweight, and it places the district clearly within the shape of the capital.

Toward the bay
Just west of the district the Bay of Luanda curves inward, framed by the narrow Ilha, giving the map a clean coastal edge.
Squares and junctions
Roundabouts and small squares appear as nodes in the street pattern, where several avenues meet and the grid changes direction.
