Hill-following roads
The main roads twist and bend across rolling terrain. In the composition, they form soft curves that link one cluster of streets to the next.

Mário Campos Map Poster & Print
Mário Campos is a small municipality in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, in Minas Gerais. From above, the town is more a collection of neighbourhoods than a single compact centre. Clusters of streets sit on the uneven terrain, joined by winding roads that follow the hills.
The municipality is known locally for market gardening, and much of its land is devoted to vegetable farms that supply the nearby capital. On the map, these farms show up as open spaces between the built areas. The result is an alternating pattern of settlement and cultivated ground.
A Mário Campos map poster captures this loose, semi-rural layout well. The streets curve with the land instead of following a strict grid, and the empty spaces between neighbourhoods leave room in the design. It is a gentle and understated composition.

Scattered neighbourhoods
Rather than one dense core, the town has several groups of streets. Farmland separates them, which gives the map a distributed pattern.
Market gardens
Farms producing vegetables for Belo Horizonte fill much of the land. On the map they read as open, quiet areas between the built parts.
