Maromandia Map Poster & Print
Maromandia lies in the Sofia region of northwestern Madagascar, on the national road that runs between Ambanja and Antsohihy. On the map, the town is a small cluster of streets along this route, with rivers, tidal inlets and the coast of the Mozambique Channel close by.
The surrounding landscape is a mix of low hills, farmland and waterways that wind toward the sea. Roads beyond the centre quickly become simple tracks, linking villages scattered across the region. The coastline is irregular, with bays and estuaries cutting into the land.
A Maromandia map poster shows a small, practical town shaped by its road and its proximity to water. The contrast between the compact settlement, the long route through it and the complex coastline gives the black-and-white design an open, uncluttered character.
