Mehlville Map Poster & Print
Mehlville is an unincorporated community in south St. Louis County, Missouri, a few miles south of the city of St. Louis. It lies west of the Mississippi River. On a map, it is a typical postwar American suburb, with winding residential streets, cul-de-sacs and shopping centres grouped along a few major roads.
Interstate 55 and older arterial roads run through the area. These roads give the map its main structure. Between them, subdivisions are filled with curving streets that rarely line up with each other. Creeks and wooded strips thread between the neighbourhoods on their way east toward the river.
A Mehlville map poster makes that suburban texture visible. At street level it can feel like a stretch of ordinary houses. From above, the loops and curls of each subdivision form an intricate pattern. The straight highways crossing it add contrast, and the Mississippi nearby gives the composition an edge.

Winding subdivisions
Residential streets curve and loop between the main roads. Together they create the dense, maze-like texture that defines the area from above.
Creeks toward the river
Small creeks and green strips run between neighbourhoods toward the Mississippi. They break up the suburban pattern with softer lines.
