The Montello
This long hill rises east of the town, crossed by a sequence of parallel roads. Their rhythmic lines are one of the map's most unusual features.

Montebelluna Map Poster & Print
Montebelluna lies in the province of Treviso, in the Veneto, where the plain meets the first low hills of the Prealps. Just to the east rises the Montello, a long, rounded hill crossed by a series of parallel roads, and beyond it flows the Piave. On the map, the town spreads across the plain in a broad, slightly irregular pattern.
Montebelluna is internationally known as a centre for sports footwear, particularly ski boots and mountaineering boots. Its industrial district includes many specialist workshops and companies, and a museum dedicated to the history of footwear. On the map, industrial areas show up as larger blocks mixed in with the finer grain of residential streets.
A Montebelluna map poster connects the town with its landscape: the compact centre, the modern neighbourhoods that surround it and the distinctive striped pattern of roads crossing the Montello. The hill gives the print a clear anchor on one side, while the plain opens out on the other.
