Castle hill
The ruined fortress on the summit anchors the old town. Streets wind up around it in irregular rings, which gives the map an unmistakable focal point.

Morón de la Frontera Map Poster & Print
Morón de la Frontera grew on and around a hill crowned by the remains of a castle, and the old town still follows the shape of that hill. From above, narrow streets curl around the slope and climb toward the summit, while later neighbourhoods spread across the gentler ground below. Beyond the town, fields and olive groves roll away across the Andalusian countryside.
The words de la Frontera recall the centuries when the town stood near the frontier between Castile and the Nasrid kingdom of Granada. Morón is also known for traditional lime-making, whose revival UNESCO has listed as a good safeguarding practice, and for the air base on the plain outside town.
A Morón de la Frontera map poster shows how a hilltop fortress shaped an entire town plan. The castle hill becomes the focal point, the whitewashed lanes turn into a dense tangle of lines, and the countryside surrounds it all with an open margin. The map has a clear centre and a long story behind it.

Andalusian old town
Short, crooked lanes and small squares fill the historic centre. This street pattern dates back to the medieval town and prints as fine, dense linework.
Air base runway
On the plain west of town, the long runway of the Morón air base cuts a straight line through farmland. It contrasts sharply with the curving streets of the old quarter.
