Porteiras Map Poster & Print
Porteiras is a municipality in the far south of Ceará, in the Cariri region, close to the border with Pernambuco. The area lies at the foot of the Chapada do Araripe. This long, flat-topped plateau rises above the sertão, and its springs make the Cariri noticeably greener than much of the surrounding northeast.
On a map, the town is small and compact, with a central grid of streets and a square. Rural roads lead out toward the plateau and to neighbouring towns. Farmland, scrub and small streams fill the space around it, and the settlement's outline stays simple and clear.
A Porteiras map poster keeps that quiet structure: a modest urban centre, roads crossing open land and a strong sense of what surrounds the town. It is a personal map for families from the Cariri, wherever they live now.
