The chip campus
The SK hynix site fills a large area next to the town. Its long straight buildings and internal roads show up as bold rectangles.

Pubal Map Poster & Print
Pubal, usually written Bubal, is a town within Icheon in eastern Gyeonggi-do. Much of the area around it is rice paddies and low hills, but the map is dominated by one large feature: the Icheon campus of the chipmaker SK hynix. Its fabs and halls form an unusually large block of geometry beside the town.
Bubal is also a rail junction. The Gyeonggang Line from Pangyo toward Yeoju crosses the Jungbu Naeryuk Line here, so railway lines meet at Bubal station and head off in different directions. Roads follow the flat valley floors and connect the town with central Icheon.
A Pubal map poster places the dense town centre next to the plant's large rectangles, with rail lines crossing through and rice paddy boundaries fading into the hills. It is an unusual view of how modern industry sits in Korean farmland.

Rail crossing
Two lines meet at Bubal station. They form a clear intersection that anchors the eastern side of the map and connects the town to the wider region.
Paddy edges
Around the town, rice fields and irrigation channels form fine rectilinear patterns. They soften into low wooded hills at the frame's edges.
