Quart de Poblet lies just west of Valencia, one of the municipalities of the metropolitan area's inner ring. Its map is compact and closely packed. An older centre of narrow streets sits at the core, surrounded by later residential blocks and industrial estates that meet the boundaries of the neighbouring towns.
