Quipapá Map Poster & Print
Quipapá is a municipality in the south of Pernambuco, in the region known as the Zona da Mata, where the Atlantic Forest once stood and sugarcane has been farmed for centuries. The town sits on uneven ground, and its streets follow the lie of the land, bending around slopes rather than keeping to a strict grid.
From above, the urban area is compact, with a central cluster of streets and a few roads leaving it through rolling country. Fields and patches of remaining forest surround the town on all sides. It is a landscape shaped by agriculture and by small rivers winding through the hills.
A Quipapá map poster is a personal piece for people who know this part of Pernambuco, those who grew up in the town or have family among its streets. In black and white, its curving lanes and quiet edges make a gentle, understated image.

Zona da Mata setting
Around the town lies the forest-and-sugarcane landscape of southern Pernambuco, left open on the poster so the urban core stands out clearly.
Roads through the hills
Several roads head out from the centre across the rolling terrain, linking Quipapá to neighbouring towns and giving the composition a sense of movement.
