San Francisco de Macorís Map Poster & Print
San Francisco de Macorís is the capital of Duarte Province, in the fertile Cibao region of the northern Dominican Republic. From above, the center follows a clear colonial grid built around a main park and church. Straight streets spread from there into denser residential neighbourhoods and then into farmland.
The country around the city is known for agriculture, particularly cacao, along with rice and other crops grown in the valley. The low hills of the Cordillera Septentrional lie to the north. Roads leave the city towards Santiago, Nagua and the coast, and they form the main axes of the map.
A San Francisco de Macorís map poster centers on an orderly core that becomes looser towards the edges. The grid gradually breaks into irregular streets as it meets fields and scattered settlements, which gives the map a strong middle and a softer outline.

Valley farmland
Beyond the urban edge, field boundaries and rural roads cover the fertile valley floor, framing the city in a quiet agricultural pattern.
