San Martin Map Poster & Print
San Martin is part of the urban area around Piura in northern Peru, one of the country's warmest and driest regions. The city spreads across flat coastal desert, and its neighbourhoods are laid out in a mostly regular pattern of rectangular blocks, broken by wider avenues that carry traffic between districts.
The Piura River runs through the wider metropolitan area, and it shapes how the city has grown on either side. Water is precious here, and the contrast between irrigated land and dry ground is one of the defining features of the region when seen from above.
A San Martin map poster focuses on a close-up of this urban fabric: the steady rhythm of blocks, the avenues that cut between them and the edges where the city meets open ground. It is a personal map for people who know the neighbourhood from daily life.

Main avenues
Wider roads connect the district with the rest of Piura, forming the strongest lines on the map and orienting the composition across the grid.
Desert setting
Beyond the built-up area the land is flat and dry, and the edges of the city fade into open ground that frames the neighbourhood simply.
