San Pablo Autopan Map Poster & Print
San Pablo Autopan lies in the Toluca Valley in the State of Mexico, a short distance north of the city of Toluca. The valley floor sits high, at well over 2,500 metres, and it is broad and flat, so the town spreads out easily. On a map, a central core of streets gives way to looser blocks and long roads reaching into the fields.
It is one of the larger communities in the municipality of Toluca, with a long history as an Otomi settlement. Its plan mixes older village lanes with more recent growth. At the edges, new streets extend into farmland, and the change from housing to fields is gradual rather than sharp.
On clear days the Nevado de Toluca, the volcano that dominates the valley, stands on the south-western horizon. A San Pablo Autopan map poster shows the community in its own right rather than as a suburb of the capital, with a distinct centre, its main roads and the open valley around it.
