São Luís do Quitunde Map Poster & Print
São Luís do Quitunde is a municipality in the state of Alagoas in northeastern Brazil. It lies inland from the northern coast, between Maceió and the border with Pernambuco. On a map the town is a compact centre of streets and small squares, with roads leading out toward the coast and neighbouring towns across rolling farmland.
Sugar cane has long been central to the economy of this part of Alagoas, and wide stretches of cane fields surround the town. From above, the countryside is a patchwork of plantations, farm roads and streams. The town itself forms a dense, clearly bounded cluster in the middle of this farming landscape.
A São Luís do Quitunde map poster keeps the focus on the shape of the town and its links to the region. The streets form a closely drawn centre, and the roads around it reach across the frame like branches. It is a personal, understated print for families from the town and for anyone with memories here.
