South Salt Lake Map Poster & Print
South Salt Lake is a small city directly south of Salt Lake City, within the continuous urban area of the Salt Lake Valley. It follows the region's distinctive street system: very large square blocks, wide roads and address numbers counted from Temple Square downtown. From above it looks like a regular grid broken by heavy transport corridors.
Those corridors dominate. Interstate 15 runs north–south through the city, and the junction with Interstate 80 forms a large interchange nearby. Rail lines and TRAX light rail cross the area as well. The Jordan River flows north on the western side, with a parkway trail along its banks. Industrial and commercial land takes up much of the plan, mixed with residential neighbourhoods.
A South Salt Lake map poster is bold and structural. Wide grid roads, sweeping freeway ramps and the soft curves of the river create strong contrasts. It is less a postcard view than a clear image of how a western American city is organised.

Freeway interchange
Interstate 15 and the connection to Interstate 80 create large looping ramps. They are the most dramatic shapes on the map.
Jordan River
The river winds north along the western side of the city. Its curving line contrasts with the straight grid and freeways around it.
