Tafí Viejo Map Poster & Print
Tafí Viejo lies just north of San Miguel de Tucumán in northwestern Argentina, where the plain meets the steep, forested slopes of the Sierra de San Javier. From above, the town's streets form a regular Spanish-American grid on the flat land. To the west, dense green hillsides rise and the pattern breaks up.
The town grew around its large railway workshops, one of the most important in the country, and their extensive grounds still shape the map. Tafí Viejo is also known for lemons. The area is called Argentina's national lemon capital, and citrus groves cover much of the surrounding land.
A Tafí Viejo map poster shows the town's orderly grid, the large rectangular railway site and the rows of lemon orchards. The mountain slopes rise along one edge. It is a map where industry, agriculture and landscape meet in a clear, readable composition.
