Torquay Map Poster & Print
Torquay sits on the northern side of Tor Bay in south Devon, the largest of the towns on what is often called the English Riviera. On the map, the coastline dominates: a broad, sweeping curve of bay, a sheltered harbour and marina at the centre, and rocky headlands and coves further along. Behind the water, the town climbs steeply up several hills.
Because of that terrain, the streets rarely run straight. Roads zigzag up slopes, curve around hillsides and follow terraces, giving the map a winding, layered look. Torquay is known as the birthplace of Agatha Christie, and Kents Cavern, one of Britain's most important prehistoric cave sites, lies on its eastern side.
A Torquay map poster captures the balance between the smooth curve of Tor Bay and the tightly winding streets on the hills above it. In monochrome, the harbour, the headlands and the layered roads make a composition with plenty of movement, ideal for anyone who has spent summers on this coast or grown up in the town.

Harbour and marina
Piers and harbour walls near the centre add small, precise shapes to the waterfront. They form a clear focal point for the whole print.
Hillside streets
Roads climb and curve over the hills behind the harbour. They give the upper part of the map a dense, winding texture.

Many bar bolan karta
Torquay is a place of many seaside summers, and for some it is home. A map of the town recalls the bay, the harbour and the steep streets without relying on holiday photographs, and it suits a coastal-themed room or a hallway.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with the name of a street or the year of a memorable holiday. Choose from five styles; Blueprint suits the harbour especially well. Download HD files for $9 or order a printed poster, shipped from partners in over thirty countries.
