Torre-Pacheco Map Poster & Print
Torre-Pacheco lies in the Campo de Cartagena, the wide, flat plain in the southeast of the Region of Murcia. On a map the town centre is a compact cluster of streets, and the municipality around it is a large grid of farm plots, rural roads and scattered hamlets. The Mar Menor lagoon lies a short distance to the east.
Agriculture shapes the area. Intensive vegetable growing covers much of the plain, and from above it looks like a dense patchwork of rectangles in slightly different orientations. The municipality also includes several separate villages and some golf and residential developments, each a small cluster of its own away from the main town.
A Torre-Pacheco map poster shows a place defined as much by its fields as by its streets. The main town is the focus, and the plain around it is a fine, geometric background. It suits people who know the Murcian countryside or who have settled in one of the newer residential areas nearby.

Field patchwork
Intensively farmed plots cover the land around the town. They form a finely divided grid of rectangles that gives the poster its texture.
Outlying villages
Several smaller settlements belong to the municipality. On the map they are separate clusters of streets spread across the farmland.
