Town 'n' Country is an unincorporated community in Hillsborough County, lying northwest of central Tampa and just beyond Tampa International Airport. It grew from a planned development begun in the late 1950s, and the street pattern still reflects that era, with loops, cul-de-sacs and curving avenues that differ sharply from the older grids closer to downtown.
Major arteries such as Hillsborough Avenue and the Veterans Expressway cut through the area in long, straight lines, organising the neighbourhoods into distinct sections. Between them, residential streets wind around ponds and drainage canals, while Sweetwater and Rocky Creeks flow toward Old Tampa Bay, adding natural curves to the otherwise suburban layout.
To the west, the community reaches toward the mangrove fringes of the bay, where the land breaks into inlets and waterfront streets.
