Highway junction
The BR-101 and BR-262 run through the area as broad, sweeping curves, the most prominent lines on the poster and a clue to Viana's role in regional transport.

Viana Map Poster & Print
Viana lies on the inland side of Greater Vitória, the metropolitan area around the capital of Espírito Santo. From above, it is less a single compact centre than a series of neighbourhoods set among hills. Streets climb and twist to follow the relief, and between built-up areas there are large stretches of green where the land is too steep or too wet to build on.
Two of the main federal highways in the region, the BR-101 and the BR-262, pass through the municipality, making it an important junction for freight heading to and from the port of Vitória. Those routes are the strongest lines on the map, sweeping through the valleys while local streets branch off into the surrounding hills.
A Viana map poster shows that mix of transport corridors, winding residential streets and open ground. It is a map with a lot of movement in it, and one that reveals how the landscape directs the growth of the city. For anyone with roots in Espírito Santo, it is a familiar shape rendered in a new, calm way.

Hillside streets
Residential streets bend around slopes and ridges, producing curving, irregular blocks rather than a grid and giving the map a hand-drawn quality.
Green gaps
Stretches of undeveloped hillside and valley floor separate the neighbourhoods, so the poster alternates between dense clusters of streets and open white space.
