Curving cul-de-sacs
Residential streets bend and loop around the hills, many ending in cul-de-sacs. They create a flowing, leaf-like pattern across the map.

White Oak Map Poster & Print
White Oak is a residential community in Hamilton County, Ohio, on the hilly ground northwest of Cincinnati. It is not a city with a traditional downtown. It is a suburban area of houses, schools and shopping centres, laid out along streets that follow the uneven terrain of this part of southwest Ohio.
From above, the pattern is easy to recognise. A few main roads carry traffic through the area, and from them come curving streets, loops and cul-de-sacs that fit around hillsides and wooded creek valleys. Tree cover is heavy, and park land and school grounds appear as larger open spaces.
A White Oak map poster turns this suburban layout into something unexpectedly graphic. The looping streets create a delicate, almost botanical pattern, very different from the grid of central Cincinnati. It suits anyone who has lived in the area and knows its streets by the curves.

Main road corridors
A few arterial roads cross the community, lined with shops and services. They provide the straighter lines that anchor the composition.
Wooded creek valleys
Narrow valleys with trees run between the neighbourhoods. They leave open strips that separate the street clusters and give the map room to breathe.
