Ziyang Map Poster & Print
Ziyang lies in central Sichuan, roughly between Chengdu and Chongqing, in a landscape of low hills and river valleys. The Tuo River runs through the city, and on the map it is the defining feature: the urban area is shaped by its curves, with districts on both banks joined by bridges.
The surrounding land is hilly rather than flat, so outside the centre roads wind around slopes and farmland occupies the valleys between them. Newer districts introduce straighter avenues and larger blocks, which sit alongside the older streets near the river.
A Ziyang map poster turns this into a composition of water and contour. The river provides a strong curving band, the city gathers around it, and the roads beyond thin out and bend with the terrain. It is a modest map, drawn only from what the city's geography actually offers.

River crossings
Bridges connect the two banks at several points, short straight strokes that give the curving river a rhythm across the composition.
Hilly edges
Beyond the centre, roads bend around low hills and valleys, so the street network loosens and becomes more irregular toward the edges.
