Ko Pha-ngan sits between Ko Samui and Ko Tao in the Gulf of Thailand. From above it is a compact, rounded island whose centre is almost all hills and forest. Roads loop around the lower ground and branch off to reach the beaches. The coastline curves in and out through a long series of bays, each one a small crescent of sand between rocky points.
Thong Sala on the west coast is the main town and ferry pier, and its grid is the densest block of streets on the map. To the south-east, the narrow Haad Rin peninsula has a beach on each side. The eastern one is known worldwide for the monthly Full Moon Party. Further north and east, roads become sparse, and some bays are reached mainly by boat.
Inland on the east coast, the waterfall at Than Sadet carries rock inscriptions left by visiting Thai kings, among them King Chulalongkorn. A Ko Pha-ngan map poster brings the island's different sides together: the busy south, the quieter north and east, and the green, roadless interior that keeps them apart and shapes every route on the map.

The west-coast town around the main pier, where ferries from Samui and the mainland arrive. The island's most regular street pattern spreads inland from here.
Steep hills cover the heart of the island. The map shows a wide, open centre framed by a ring of coastal roads, with short side roads running out to the bays.

Aiheā Ko Pha-ngan
Many people remember Ko Pha-ngan as one particular season: a long stay in a bay on the north coast, a yoga retreat, a dive trip or a night on Haad Rin. A map poster turns that time into something calmer and more lasting.
Add the name of your beach or the month you arrived to the title and subtitle, set the coordinates line, and choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. Get the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster, with an optional frame.
