Kui Buri sits on the narrow waist of southern Thailand, where the land between the Gulf of Thailand and the Tenasserim hills is only a few dozen kilometres wide. From above, the town is a compact knot of streets near the main north–south highway, with a river winding east towards the shore. The coast is only a short distance away, and that nearness shapes how the whole map reads.
West of town the pattern changes completely. Field boundaries and plantation rows give way to the unbroken green of Kui Buri National Park, which is known for its wild elephants and gaur and for tours that go out to watch them at the forest edge. On paper that forest becomes an empty expanse, and the dense town grid stands out clearly against it.
A Kui Buri map poster keeps things simple: the thin line of the coast, the crossing roads, the curves of the river and the open ground running up to the hills. Prachuap Khiri Khan province is known for its pineapples, and the regular fields around town add a fine texture that works well in black and white. The result is a quiet, balanced composition that is mostly land and horizon.
The eastern edge of the map is the Gulf of Thailand, a long, gently curving shoreline that gives the composition a clean boundary and a strong horizontal line.
The main road linking Bangkok with the south runs past the town, a long straight stroke that ties the local street grid to the rest of the peninsula.
Kui Buri National Park covers the hills inland. On the poster it is a wide field with almost no lines in it, a strong contrast to the streets.

Aiheā Kui Buri
People hang Kui Buri for the stretch of coast they drove along or the morning they spent watching elephants at the park edge. The map calls up that quieter side of Thailand, well away from the resort towns, and it suits a calm room without a crowded image.
You can set your own title and subtitle, such as a family name, a travel date or a short line, and adjust the coordinates line. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
