Meadow Woods is a large suburban community in Orange County, south of central Orlando. From above, it is a clear example of Central Florida's planned growth. Winding residential streets and cul-de-sacs fill parcel after parcel, each subdivision with its own loops, and the whole area is divided up by broad arterial roads laid out on a rough grid.
Water is everywhere on this map, but most of it is built. Stormwater ponds sit inside nearly every neighbourhood, and wetlands and canals weave between them.
