Qui Nhon lies on the south-central coast of Vietnam, in what became Gia Lai province after the 2025 merger with Bình Định. The city centre sits on a broad peninsula between the Thị Nại lagoon to the north and a long curved bay to the south-east. Water frames the street grid on nearly every side, and this gives the city a very clear outline from above.
Across the lagoon lies the Phương Mai peninsula, reached by the Thị Nại Bridge, one of the longest sea bridges in Vietnam, which draws a straight line over the water on the map. To the south, the coast road winds past Ghềnh Ráng, a rocky headland with small coves and the tomb of the poet Hàn Mặc Tử, toward quieter beaches.
Inland, the Twin Towers, a pair of Cham temples from the Champa era, stand among the city streets as a reminder of the region's earlier history. A Qui Nhon map poster brings that layered geography together: the beach promenade, fishing harbour, lagoon and bridge, with the hills of the headland closing the southern edge.
The city's main beach curves along the bay in a long, smooth arc, backed by a coastal avenue that gives the seaward side of the grid a clean edge.
The bridge crosses the lagoon toward the Phương Mai peninsula in one long straight line. It is one of the most striking features on the printed map.
South of the centre, rocky hills meet the sea in a series of coves. Here the coast road winds and the dense street pattern gives way to slopes.

Aiheā Qui Nhon
Qui Nhon is a quieter coastal city, remembered for its bay, its seafood and its unhurried pace. For people who grew up here or spent a long beach holiday here, the map captures the familiar outline of lagoon, bridge and shore in a way photographs rarely do.
