San Pedro Totoltepec sits in the Toluca Valley, in the State of Mexico, at an altitude of more than 2,500 metres. It belongs to the municipality of Toluca. The most striking thing on its map is the Toluca international airport, whose long runway cuts a clean, ruled line through the surrounding fields and neighbourhoods.
Around that line the town follows an older logic. Streets radiate from the traditional centre and its church, then loosen into a patchwork of blocks, farm plots and newer housing on the flat valley floor. Industrial parks and highway corridors run along the edges. The result is a map where rural and modern layers sit side by side.
A San Pedro Totoltepec map poster turns that meeting of layers into a composition. The runway acts as a strong horizontal anchor. The finer mesh of residential streets fills the space around it, and roads leading toward Toluca and Mexico City give the drawing direction. It is a practical landscape, and on paper it looks surprisingly graphic.
The Toluca airport runway is the boldest single shape on the map: a long straight bar that dominates the valley floor and immediately orients the viewer.
The older centre around the parish church keeps a denser, more irregular pattern of short streets. It stands out against the looser blocks built later.
Highways and arterial roads cross the flat valley toward Toluca and beyond. They draw long diagonal strokes that link the town to the wider metropolitan region.

The map suits anyone with roots in the Toluca Valley, and it also suits people for whom this airport was a first arrival or a regular departure. It captures a specific place in the highlands of central Mexico with a clean, modern graphic language.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or an arrival date, and pick from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint goes well with the technical geometry of the runway.
