Dirba is a town in Sangrur district in the Malwa region of Punjab, India. The land here is very flat and heavily farmed, mostly wheat and rice, and the town serves as a local market and service centre for the villages around it.
The map shows a dense centre where streets gather around the bazaar and main crossroads, surrounded by newer housing along the roads leading out of town. A Dirba map poster also shows the rectangular fields beyond, where the whole landscape is divided into regular plots.
