Fiorano Modenese lies on the southern rim of the Po plain, at the point where flat farmland begins to rise into the Apennine foothills. From above, the town has a dense core that opens northward into orderly blocks, while to the south the roads loosen and bend as they climb gently toward a small hill crowned by a sanctuary.
The name travels far beyond Emilia-Romagna because of the Fiorano circuit, the private track Ferrari opened in the early 1970s a short distance from Maranello. On a map it appears as a closed, looping line drawn among fields and industrial plots, a shape that stands apart from every other pattern in the surrounding streets.
The area is also part of one of Italy's main ceramic tile districts, and the long rectangular footprints of factories and warehouses give the northern edge a strongly geometric texture. A Fiorano map poster holds these layers together: the tight historic centre, the industrial grid, the circuit and the first folds of the hills, all reduced to fine black lines.
Ferrari's private track draws a closed loop of curves and straights among the fields, instantly recognisable to anyone who follows motorsport and unlike any ordinary road on the map.
South of the centre, roads wind up to the hilltop sanctuary of the Beata Vergine del Castello, where the street pattern changes from flat blocks to contour-following curves.
Large rectangular industrial plots spread across the plain, a reminder of the ceramic industry that shapes the local economy and gives this part of the map its crisp, blocky rhythm.

Ko e hā ʻa Fiorano
For many people Fiorano is a pilgrimage point, the place where road cars and racing cars are proven before they leave the factory. Others know it as home, a quiet town between the plain and the hills. Either way, the map captures something more personal than a photograph of a single car or square.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a meaningful date or keep the coordinates line, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir suits the circuit's graphic loop especially well on a dark wall.
