Gaurela is a town in northern Chhattisgarh and part of the Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district, created in 2020. It lies on an upland plateau near the Maikal hills, in a region of forests, streams and small farming villages. On the map, the town is a compact cluster of streets surrounded by an uneven, green landscape.
