Grimstad is a coastal town in Agder, on Norway's southern Skagerrak shore. Its old centre wraps around a sheltered inner harbour. Narrow lanes of white-painted wooden houses climb the rocky ground behind the quays. On a map the town is a tight knot of streets pressed between the hills and the water.
Offshore, the coast breaks into islands, skerries and inlets, and these give the poster its most striking shapes.
