Guarapari lies on the coast of Espírito Santo, south of Vitória, and from above it is defined by the sea. Its shoreline is broken into a series of small bays and sandy beaches separated by rocky points. The town centre sits close to the mouth of a river, and neighbourhoods fill the flat ground and low hills behind the coast.
The city is one of the best-known beach destinations in the state. It is especially famous for its black sands, rich in monazite, which are naturally slightly radioactive and have been visited for decades by people who believe in their health benefits. That association earned Guarapari the nickname Cidade Saúde, the city of health, and drew many summer visitors.
A Guarapari map poster is all about coastline. Scalloped bays and headlands create a rhythmic, irregular edge against the open Atlantic, and the river mouth adds a soft curve through the centre. Behind them lies the dense web of beach streets. In black and white, the coast becomes a striking outline that immediately suggests a summer place by the sea.
The coast breaks into a row of small bays and coves divided by rocky points. Together they make a distinctive rhythmic outline along the edge of the map.
A river meets the sea near the town centre. Its curving channel and the bridges across it add a soft, flowing line to the coastal grid.
The city's well-known monazite beaches lie along this stretch of coast. On the map they are simple pale arcs framed by headlands, easy to point to on the wall.

Guarapari is where many families from Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo have spent their summers for generations. A map of its bays and beaches is a gentle way to hold onto those holidays all year round.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a beach name or a year, and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand is a natural fit for this coast.
