Hayang is a town in the city of Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province, just east of Daegu. The map shows a flat plain along the Geumho River, with the town centre near the water and hills rising around the valley. Rail lines and roads run through the valley and link Hayang with Daegu and the towns further east.
Several university campuses sit on the edges of town, including Daegu Catholic University. Their quads, sports fields and internal roads form distinct, self-contained shapes on the map.
