Khor Kalba mangroves
Branching tidal channels at the south of town hold one of the oldest mangrove forests in Arabia. On the map they appear as fine, finger-like shapes that contrast sharply with the straight coastline.

Kalbā belongs to the emirate of Sharjah but sits on the opposite side of the country, on the east coast facing the Gulf of Oman. On a map the shoreline runs as a long, almost straight edge, with a corniche road tracing the beach and a grid of residential blocks behind it. Inland, the town gives way to gravel plains and then to the steep folds of the Hajar Mountains.
At the southern end of town lies Khor Kalba, a tidal creek lined with mangroves that are among the oldest in the Arabian Peninsula and a protected habitat for birds and turtles. On paper the creek appears as a set of branching channels reaching into the land. A Kalbā map poster sets those intricate water shapes against the straight lines of the coast and streets.
Kalbā is also close to the border with Oman, and the coast road continues south toward it. In black and white the sea becomes a clean blank field, the creek adds delicate texture, and the streets form an orderly band between water and mountains. The composition has a strong horizontal rhythm that is calm and well proportioned.

A seafront road runs along the beach for much of the town's length. It traces the coastline as a single clean line, separating the orderly residential blocks from the open sea.
West of town the land rises toward the Hajar Mountains. Wadis and roads heading inland cut across the map, hinting at the dramatic terrain just beyond the edge of the frame.

Kalbā appeals to residents of the east coast and to anyone who has spent quiet weekends among its mangroves and beaches, away from the busier west side of the Emirates. The long shoreline gives the poster a restful, open look.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame, and the HD files cost $9.
