Koboko lies in the West Nile sub-region of northern Uganda, close to where the country meets both South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. On a map, the town appears as a compact centre with roads leaving in several directions, some heading toward those borders, which gives the layout the feel of a crossroads.
The surrounding landscape is rural and gently rolling, with homesteads and farmland spreading out between the main routes. The built area is modest in size, so the drawing is mostly about the way roads converge on the centre and then thin out into tracks and scattered settlement across open country.
A Koboko map poster keeps that simplicity. The central streets form a small, legible knot, and the roads that radiate away from it carry the eye outward. It is a quiet image of a frontier town and the routes that connect it to its neighbours.
The main roads meet near the centre, and the market streets around that junction form the densest part of the map.
Roads leading north and west head toward South Sudan and Congo, giving the composition long lines that stretch away from the centre.
Beyond the town, fine tracks and scattered homesteads create a light texture that frames the settlement without crowding it.
