Flat farmland
Rectangular fields and straight drainage channels cover the land around the settlement. They give the map a regular texture that looks almost woven when printed.

Langtoucun Map Poster & Print
Langtoucun lies in southeastern Liaoning, near Dandong and not far from where the Yalu River meets Korea Bay. This is low, flat country, and the map is dominated by the geometry of farmland, drainage channels and roads rather than a dense city core. The settlement itself is a modest cluster of streets and buildings set within that working landscape.
Toward the coast, the land gives way to tidal flats and wetlands. On a map these appear as soft, uneven shapes in contrast to the straight lines of fields and canals inland. Roads connect the area with Dandong to the north and with other towns along the coast of the bay.
The appeal of this map is in its restraint. There are no famous landmarks to point to, just a clear pattern of fields, water channels and roads meeting near the sea. A Langtoucun map poster turns that pattern into a quiet, precise print with a strong sense of place.

Coastal flats
To the south the land meets the tidal areas of Korea Bay. The irregular shoreline and wetlands soften the edge of the composition.
Roads toward Dandong
Roads run north toward Dandong and along the coast. They are the strongest lines in a low landscape and connect the village area with the wider region.

For someone with family roots in the Dandong area, or a personal link to this stretch of coast, a map of Langtoucun is a very specific way to mark that connection. Its simple geometry also works well as a minimalist print.
You can write the title in any form you like, add a subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from five styles, including Noir and Sand. The $9 files are 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs, and printed posters on matte paper are also available.
