Macomia is a district seat in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique's northernmost province. It lies inland from the Indian Ocean on the main road that runs north through the region. On a map the town is long and linear. Buildings and lanes gather along the highway, and a looser pattern of paths and plots spreads out on either side.
Beyond the town the land is largely rural, a mix of farmland, woodland and scattered villages. The district reaches east to the coast and includes part of Quirimbas National Park, which protects coastal forest, islands and marine habitat. In black and white, that surrounding space reads as calm openness around the compact settlement.
Macomia is a small place with little published detail about its streets, so this poster sticks to what the map shows. A Macomia map poster captures a town defined by its road, a community that formed along a route of travel and trade, set within the wide, green landscape of northern Mozambique.
The north–south road through Cabo Delgado is the town's backbone. It is a strong, straight line on the map, and most of the built-up area is arranged along it.
Away from the highway, narrow lanes and footpaths spread between homes and plots in an irregular web. This fine detail softens the poster's central axis.
Farmland and woodland surround the town on all sides. The wide areas of calm space set the settlement apart as a distinct cluster in the landscape.

Ko e hā ʻa Macomia
For people from Cabo Delgado who now live in Pemba, Maputo or abroad, a map of Macomia keeps a hometown in view. Its simple linear shape makes a clean, understated composition that speaks of roots rather than tourism, and it suits a quiet corner of a home.
You can add a family name, a date or a few words in the subtitle, set the coordinates line and choose one of five styles, such as Sand or Noir. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries, or you can download the $9 HD files and print locally.
