Mâncio Lima is the westernmost municipality in Brazil, in the far west of Acre near the border with Peru. The town is a short drive from Cruzeiro do Sul, the main city of the Juruá valley, and it serves as the gateway to one of the most remote protected areas in the country. From above it is a compact grid of streets surrounded by forest, pasture and rivers.
The municipality contains a large part of Serra do Divisor National Park, where low mountains rise above the Amazon lowland, an unusual sight in this part of Brazil. Rivers wind through the landscape in tight meanders, and waterfalls and forested ridges draw visitors along the park's trails. On a wide map the contrast between flat forest and the ridge lines of the serra is striking.
The town itself is small and orderly, with a regular pattern of streets that stops abruptly where forest and farmland begin. A Mâncio Lima map poster works well framed close to the centre, showing the grid and the road toward Cruzeiro do Sul. It can also be pulled back to include the rivers and the edge of the national park.
The town sits at the western limit of Brazil, one of the last built-up areas before the forested border with Peru.
Low forested ridges rise in the national park beyond the town, a rare stretch of high ground in the Amazon that adds relief to a wider frame.
A short road links the town to the regional centre of the Juruá valley, a single line connecting the compact grid to the wider world.

A map of Mâncio Lima marks the far edge of Brazil. For people from the town it is simply home, with its streets, rivers and forest in view, and it also suits travellers who have made the long trip to the Serra do Divisor.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps adding a line about Brazil's westernmost town or a meaningful date, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as digital files or printed posters.
