Mandi Dabwāli lies in Sirsa district at the northwestern edge of Haryana, right on the border with Punjab. The name reflects its role as a mandi, a market town serving the surrounding farmland. From above, the town is a dense cluster of lanes set on perfectly flat land, with fields stretching out in regular rectangles in every direction.
A railway and a major highway pass through the town, and much of the street pattern is organised around them. Because the state border runs so close, the built-up area continues across it into Punjab, and on the map the two sides read as one continuous settlement.
A Mandi Dabwāli map poster captures that compact, practical layout: tight lanes near the market, straighter roads leading out to the plain, and the rail line cutting cleanly through. The surrounding field boundaries give the print a fine, orderly frame.
The Haryana–Punjab boundary runs along the edge of town, and streets continue across it without a break, creating one settlement split between two states.
A railway line and a main highway cross the town, forming the strongest straight lines on the map and anchoring the surrounding street pattern.
Narrow, closely spaced lanes around the commercial centre reflect the town's role as a grain and trading market for the agricultural plain around it.
