Riga's international airport lies at the municipality's edge. Its runway and taxiways create the strongest straight lines on the whole map.

Mārupe Map Poster & Print
Mārupe is a suburban municipality just southwest of Riga. It grew quickly after Latvian independence, as families moved from city flats to houses with gardens. From above it is a mix of new residential streets, older farm roads and patches of pine forest and meadow, with a loose, open texture very different from Riga's dense centre.
The most striking feature on the map is Riga International Airport, which sits at the municipality's edge. Its long runway and taxiways form a clean set of straight lines. Around them, the residential areas follow a gentler pattern of curving roads and small blocks.
A Mārupe map poster captures a modern Baltic suburb. It includes the geometry of the airport, the scattered neighbourhoods and the green spaces between them. For people who built a house here, the print shows the street they chose in relation to the city nearby.

New neighbourhoods
Recent residential streets, often laid out on former farmland, form small clusters of loops and short blocks among older rural roads.
Forest and meadow
Pine woods and open land between the settlements leave generous blank areas. They give the poster room to breathe.

Mārupe is often where a family's own house was built, so a map of it is closely tied to milestones such as moving in, a first child or finishing a garden. It works well in an entrance hall or a study.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, in Latvian or English. Choose from five styles, for example Noir for a darker interior or Paper for a softer tone. Each $9 download includes a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF for six sizes.
